As creators, there are so many things that we have to learn to be successful in this industry from managing our content and our audience to our personal life and mental health. In “Coached”, a podcast series of Soulcial Scoop podcast by Soulcialmate, we work 1:1 with a member of our private creator coaching community, the Soulcial Suite, and you get to be a fly on the wall during our call.
Imagine being so close to reaching your goals but realizing that there’s only one thing that’s stopping you from achieving them? And that thing is YOU?
Creators — like most people in creative fields — deal with limiting beliefs all the time. We have this special talent of thinking of tons of different reasons why we can’t do something or why it won’t work out, so we just don’t do them.
But imagine if those limiting beliefs didn’t exist? Imagine if you had an idea and just started to execute it? Imagine what could happen?
In today’s episode of “Coached” with Lissie Cox, a plus-size fashion and disability awareness creator, we’re chatting about creating digital products and staying consistent — AND how limiting beliefs can hold you back on both of these things.

The creator economy is ever-changing, but there have been some recent trends that we’ve been seeing a ton of already in 2023. Have you heard of “deinfluencing”? You’ve definitely watched videos from the extravagant Tarte influencer trip to Dubai. Or what about the Mikayla Nogueira L’Oreal “lash gate” drama?
There are a lot of really important lessons that we can learn from these recent occurrences in influencer marketing. Lia Haberman, a UCLA influencer marketing professor and an expert on building influencer programs for brand campaigns, chatted all about what creators can learn from these trends in this week’s episode.

One of the hardest parts about owning any business is figuring out your rates and having to negotiate with potential clients. It’s a skill that takes confidence, knowledge and experience to become really seasoned at, but it’s also one of the most crucial things to master in your creator business. How do you turn gifted collaborations into paid partnerships? How can you close more deals if brands are constantly fighting you that your rates are “too high”?
In this episode of “Coached” with creator and mobility coach Alex Ellis, we’re diving into solutions for both of these major struggles.

It’s no secret that short-form video content has been a key part of every creators strategy in the last two years, but many creators that I speak to are wondering why their TikTok videos are always stuck around 200-400 views? Or why their Reels never seen to reach nearly the size of their audience?
If you’re in this boat or you’re just looking to improve your short-form video performance, you’ll definitely be interested in hearing about the key elements to a successful video and what we can do logistically to make them perform better, right?
This week, we’re here with Riley Lemon, a 26-year old TikTok creator turned entrepreneur with over 1.5 million followers across his platforms. He got his start on Vine then moved into YouTube and TikTok to build his digital notoriety making people laugh. In “Coached”, a podcast series of Soulcial Scoop podcast by Soulcialmate, we work 1:1 with a member of our private creator coaching community, the Soulcial Suite, and you get to be a fly on the wall during our call.
There are three main things that I see creators struggle with the most: Consistency, engagement, and rates. Today, I’m chatting with home decor & DIY creator (and Soulcial Suite member!), Megan Crawshaw, about all three.
All of these topics really intertwine with each other. If you’re consistent, you’ll likely see higher engagement. If you see higher engagement, you’ll likely be able to raise your rates. Pop on your headphones, and let’s start at the beginning and give you all the tips you need to master these three topics in this week’s episode of Soulcial Scoop.

Have you ever wanted to create your own physical product, but you’re confused and intimidated on the process? Realistically, there are a lot of challenges that come with creating a physical product, but it surprisingly doesn’t have to be scary.
On this week’s episode, we’re here with Ro Trived, the CEO and co-founder of Pietra, a platform that helps creative entrepreneurs start and scale their own businesses.
They created Pietra long before the "Creator Economy" was a phrase. They now have over 100,000 entrepreneurs who have signed up to start their own company many of which are Creators. The most interesting part is that this platform has proven valuable to Creators of all sizes, from mega celebs, to the long tail Creator who creates content online as a hobby.
Today, we’re diving into creating your own physical product as a creator.

The struggles that we deal with as creators are more than logistical. They’re mentally taxing too. There’s an immense amount of pressure for creators to stay relevant and constantly push out content all while we’re deeply feeling like imposters comparing ourselves to others.
This week’s guest, Kaia Clark, is a foodie who shares all of the best recommendations for food and activities in North Georgia and Metro Atlanta.
Kaia knows what it’s like to feel that pressure. Being a local foodie creator, she also aims to partner with local businesses to support their growth but has been getting stuck when it comes to finding a middle ground for supporting them while also being compensated for her work.
In this week’s episode of “Coached”, we discuss Imposter Syndrome, dealing the pressure that creators are met with, and working with small, local businesses.

If you’ve ever considered starting a podcast, now is the time. It can help you build a stronger community and bring in thousands more dollars per year. This week’s guest, Adam McNeil, was just a normal guy who had a unique game that he really liked playing. He also loved coffee. He could talk about it for hours.
So he did. He started his show and did about 50k downloads in his first year of podcasting. During that time he was able to bring in over $25,000 in revenue from his show.
And if you’re wondering what that approach was like..
You’re probably wondering what kind of advantage he had to make this happen in such a short period of time.. He didn’t have a huge social media following. He didn’t have a bunch of fancy equipment. All he had was a passion for a unique topic that he presented in a unique way.
Adam — who is now the VP of Marketing for ADOPTER Media (they spend over $20 million in annual podcast ad spend) — spilled all of his secrets in this week’s episode of “Soulcial Scoop”.

Being is a creator is a job, but it can be hard to treat it like that sometimes. You might have difficulty clocking in and out consistently. Managing your time and getting your tasks done efficiently might be a challenge. Or maybe you’re mentally struggling to show up.
Today’s guest on “Coached”, we chatted with Karissa Brown, a wellness and confidence creator who is feeling all of these struggles.
I shared some of my favorite tips for treating creating like a job (even if it’s your current side hustle), what to do when you’re struggling to show up, and even how to see more consistency with brand partnerships.

When KB Chesko, a professor and father, first got started he was creating low-production TikTok content — mostly in his car — clapping back at things people say on the internet and giving his opinion. He first saw success on TikTok, then was growing thousands of followers per day on Instagram, and was then able to bring in thousands of dollars every month from YouTube.
So, what is the secret to Chesko’s success? Why do his videos perform so well on every single platform resulting in him making more than he makes at his full-time job from YouTube ads alone? That’s what we’re discovering in this week’s episode of Soulcial Scoop.
